Man, I usually cut Brad some slack, and have been waiting until the playoffs before judging him.

But for gods sake, at some stage these games have become important. We're going to end up as the 5th seed if we're not careful. No more "it's a meaningless regular season game", because they're not.

Losing faith in him, but trying to tell myself to wait until the playoffs
I didn’t notice Stevens out there playing like garbage.
No, he's just the guy sticking with the lineups that are
Well, just about the while team playing that way.  So what are the options?

Regardless of how biased one is toward Brad, it's pretty clear that he's been a complete failure this year thus far. Has thoroughly failed to manage the talent of the team, which has led to lackluster chemistry and fit.

Dude just needs to grow a pair and make some tough rotation decisions. Honestly, sitting Rozier might solve a lot of the problems moving forward, as that opens up more time for Brown at the guard spot, which for whatever reason we've stopped playing him in for the last several months. If Rozier wants to complain about it, then do what we did with Keith Bogans - send him home and let him collect a paycheck there. He isn't buying into his role off the bench, so he doesn't need to be with the team.

INGLES WANNABE FOR THREE

has 17 on half!  ::) ::) ::)

And our Max Hayward has zip...this is going to be a looooonggg night.

even Brad could never figure this team out.
Was wondering when you'd come back with these posts, after being mysteriously quiet for a while.

Im always here dude...
Just stating the facts. Hayward plays bad whenever we have Kyrie... he just gets back to his shell and I would never know why he does this...

He had 3 good games prior to the AS break but now after a week off he has fogotten how to play basketball again.
I would think it's playing a lot of minutes alongside Rozier that hurts him. He never gets used right (which is on Brad) and that ices him.

Bad coaching to not use your players in their best role.
Yup, playing alongside rozier has to be maddening.

For all the good he’s done DA screwed up the trade deadline by not finding an actual backup pg.
All I asked for was a way to move Rozier - for anything, really.  Addition by subtraction.  I was sorely disappointed that it did not happen.

You don't have to move him - just bench him. Coach needs to have the stones to do it.

No argument here about benching him.  I just can't figure out why Brad continues to feed him undeserved minutes.  It's like he's afraid of a discontented Terry Rozier.

Wanamaker should take Roziers minutes. Danny thinks he's gonna get something from someone for Rozier and keeps showcasing him.

What for, he is a FA. can go anywhere he wants... Im all for benching Scary terry...is has been useless this last month

BULLS BY 15   ::) ::)

it is plainly obvious this team only plays when they want

i have seen enough

brad cannot keep them ready consistently

sadly that will cost us seeding spots and homesourt

oh well

it is going to cost us once we get to the playoffs as well.  You can't just turn effort on and off. This team needs to learn to play hard and give max effort against every team.  I have the feeling it is too late in the year to learn that lesson.

This team actually feels like the old Lebron Cavs to me... I actually think they’ll bring it every game in the playoffs. Problem is at this rate they won’t even have homecourt in the first round.

Yep, same here. They play with intensity in the big games, which is every game in the playoffs. But that's not going to matter if you set yourself up with a super difficult playoff map in the 5 seed.

There's nothing to showcase. He's a free agent this summer.  Just sit his ass on the bench and don't play him.

Like seriously Brad. Just bench Rozier for one game, then see what happens on the court. At least then, we can see if it's a team problem or a Rozier problem.

In other news, Rockets started the game on a 15-0 run against Golden State  :o

It's 35-20 now in the 2nd though.

Also, Lakers down 16 to an AD-less Pelicans team with 6 minutes to go.

Strange day...

That quarter lasted an eternity.  Feels like we should be down more than 13 with that pathetic performance.  I hope there's some heated exchanges in the locker room after that one.

Hayward should be running the point 100% of the time with the bench unit. No idea why anyone, Brad included, believe it’s a good idea for Rozier to even pretend he’s a PG.
The ONLY reason Hayward even needs to play PG is because of rozier.  I hate that.  If we had even a decent PG, Hayward would be so much better.

Hayward is a Larry Bird-type of forward. He needs the ball in his hands more to be effective. His strength is not as a spot-up shooter. When he handles the ball more, he creates all sorts of offensive opportunities for himself and his teammates. This is what I'm talking about when I refer to a clash of playing styles on this team. Too many players that don't compliment each other on-court - not because they are selfish but because of how they naturally play the game. Management has to be smart enough to put together complimentary players. Think of the collection of superstar teams that have been failures because they didn't fit well as a unit............

The chemistry fit is 100% in the makeup of the team.  Coach doing his best from there.
