We should shut down Kyrie until we meet the warriors in the finals. Lol These tough defenses in the east are taking away his magic

Shaq is a fewl...lol

Wasnt that Kobe's beef with Shaq that he was never in shape!!!

What'd he say?

Ragged on Embiid for sitting out because of tendinitis of the knee.

Lebron may have left the east, but Giannis is having the same effect as Lebron.
I think this is a bit premature. Giannis hasn't even won a series, whereas LeBron was an MVP who had led his lowly Cavs to the Finals.
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

  • GOT IT!!!
Let’s just be honest, this is a bad matchup simply because the C’s shooting isn’t consistent enough. Hopefully the Bucks shooting turns into pumpkins in the playoffs.

I mean, we're without Baynes and Hayward, Kyrie had easily his worst half of the season, and yet it's a six point game at halftime with us still shooting poorly. I'm pretty encouraged. If Kyrie flips the switch, we should be sitting pretty in the second half.

Baynes is too slow to matter against the Bucks. Need Smart to stop jacking up shots against this team because it plays right into their hands. Need a defensive grind it out style against them instead of this quick let’s trade baskets offense.

Bucks 8-18 from 3pt land.
That's 44%.

If that trend continues, Celts will lose.
There's just no way the Celts will be able to keep up.
On the bright side, rarely do a team sustain that kind of shooting the whole game.

I think the Celts must keep it close so that they can steal the win in the last 3 minutes of the game.

We arent gonna win very many games where Kyrie shoots 1-10 for 2 points. Luckily he is unlikely to repeat that performance in the second half. Horford also needs to shoot better, 4-12.

Sixers just beat the Heat.

Celts need to win this one to hold on to the #4 seed.

For those of you not watching the NBCSportsBoston telecast Tommy just said that the Bucks are swarming Kyrie as soon as he drives and forcing him to pass. Suggested maybe some midrange shots might unlock things for him as well as finding the open man (and the open man making the shot).
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Al Horford is the ONLY Celtic that should be complaining ... he plays balls out and deserves a championship ring. He is the CAPTAIN.

You're undervaluing Baynes. We've been a much different team this season having him as the backup big, as Theis just doesn't cut it against bigger bigs. And I feel like your statement critiquing Baynes is inconsistent with your wish for a "defensive grind it out style" lol

Also, Smart is 1-3 tonight lol

Feels like they are over playing Giannis and that is giving the Bucks some wiiiiide open looks. I’m in the let Giannis get his camp. Limit the 3s from everyone else.

Smart?  He’s 1-3 but Kyrie is 1-10 so yes I guess it’s good to call out Smart.

Giannis has those Boban-like comically large hands. Sorta like Rondo did, but scaled up
