Can we get Jack Sparrow? We need a miracle with this crew. And a lot of rum for the fans.
Trade deadline mock team: Celtics,
Irving, Rozier, Wanna
Smart, Robinson, Dozier
Tatum, Morris, Semi
Griffin, Theis, Yab
Horford, Baynes, Williams

He seems the perfect candidate. Our offense is way too predictable anyway.

Why?

It's obvious that the captain should be smart or horford, but most of the team looks to Kyrie.

That's been a major issue all year.

It's possible that actually naming one of those guys captain would give them a sense of credibility beyond the natural credibility they have by virtue of their experience/dedication.

And there is the fact that anyone or all three could be gone next year. Al and Kyrie both can opt out and Smart might be salary filler in a trade. Yes the various chances of any of those three not being on the team are different, but there is still a chance they could be gone.

If something like that were to happen (I think Stevens has already said he doesn't believe in captains so it doesn't look like it ever will) I would expect it to be a mid-season deal.
