Nothing against Kyrie but I love this brand of Celtics basketball. 🤷🏾‍♂️

Our starting backcourt went 5 for 22. You love that?

Yes....W

TP THE BACK COURT struggled but the team fought for each other and won. That is what TEAM is all about.

As opposed to recent games like OKC where the team refused to fight for Kyrie and we... won?

Or the 2nd half of the Clippers game where this team sans Kyrie folded like lawn chairs.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

This is the NBA not And1. We all like Kyrie but it's undeniable that they play with more cohesion when he's not in. I don't know what else to say...the proof is out there. Yes, to win a chip we need Kyrie.

like i said I will trust him as a Celtic once he signs that contract whenever he does. Until then I will treat him like the fence sitter he is .

The obsessive man-love for Kyrie Irving on this board is amazing. The Celts look like a completely different team when he is absent.
I think he stays home from way too many games when injured, but I'm glad he wasn't with the team on this little trip.
::) calling the pro-Kyrie posters obsessive has got to be an ironic joke

Not bad Gouk - You have a point.
But the obsession is about what is best for the Celtics.

Yeah, it’s truly baffling how a borderline top 10 player has supporters.

We do not need him to win it all - he hurts our chances. Completely different team without him.

Not doubting his offensive talent - he is very good with the ball. Just that his style kills this team - square peg.

That's not an analogy. That's what happened. When he went out in the 2nd quarter, we had a huge lead.

It's almost like some would rather see Kyrie get 40 and lose. LOL it's pretty wild.

When this team is engaged and playing defense, they can beat anyone! Loved how we responded to whatever PHI threw at us in the 2nd half and we fought till the end.

Things truly looked bleak when PHI opened the 2nd half on a 9-0 run but we answered with a big run of our own. Game could have easily been lost there if we didn’t come back.

eveerybody knows kyrie MAY do too much iso at times and we need to keep moving ball for whomever but kyrie also can take over to bail us out when everybody else is cold and to think he does not help us win a title is foolishness
