Nobody's perfect in basketball.

Kyrie turned the ball over, sure, but he made up for it.

What separates the great ones from the ordinary ones is like what Kyrie does in the clutch.

This season Kyrie is one of the best clutch players in the league.
That's according to the stats ESPN provided during the game.

I was at the game. Really exciting (if you like offense.)

I just love how Kyrie takes over the end of the game (for better or worse.) That's what leaders are supposed to do.

That was also a big steal towards the end of the game by Horford from Westbrook.

The starting 5 really seems to be clicking. The bench is still a work in progress. But great game. I will say, I was impressed with the way Westbrook played. It seems he's taking less shots and getting his teammates more involved but he still scores the big baskets when needed as opposed to before when he was just a ball hog.

It would be very important in the playoffs

Irving was pretty darn good on both sides of the ball. I know some think he might leave but in this game you could see how much Irving enjoys playing on this team. On the ball and off the ball he was flowing on the offense. He won't find another team that sets him up to succeed the same way and I'm sure he knows it.

Yup. Plus 36 assists in the game, and excellent ball movement for the large majority of the game. After all the talk about dissension on the team and Kyrie killing team ball. Malarkey.

Anyone noticed how well our "original" lineup of Horford, Tatum, Brown, Irving and Hayward played? I think it was late 3rd, when OKC came  close and this lineup extended the lead back to 9 or 10. I really liked what I saw from them, especially on defense, very switchy lineup.

Yesterday's game is just another reason I don't understand the somewhat irrational pettiness that comes from the Irving detractors. 

Kyrie was amazing.  Most fans would kill to have a talent like this dress in their team uniform.

I would still like to see A good defensive center that Allows Al to play PF.

And honestly would like to see Smart back on the bench,.

I LOVE smart and like what he is bringing in the starting lineup, but Im thinking the bench needs his presence right now, bench needs a leader...Rozier, Brown, Hayward, hopefully Morris (after getting a starting center), and Baynes needs a leader out there with them, that is why switching brown and smart makes sense.

I dont think Hayward will be a leader anytime soon, nor do I think he will be a good nba player any time soon again due to his fragile mindset and I think playing with Smart will do him good in getting over that hurdle
