I'm still worried that the Lakers will get him, since they apparently haven't come up with a serious offer so far. And Paul and James will put pressure on Magic to risk everything to make this happen.
An offer of Ball, Kuzma, Rondo, Beasley and 1 first round pick isn't close to what they can offer in the end. What if the Lakers go all out, offer all future picks they can and make everybody available? Ball, Hart, Ingram, Bonga, Mykhailiuk, Kuzma, Wagner and Zubac. Need to flip a couple of these players for picks, but all that combined has a lot of value.
If it's enough has to be determined by New Orleans, but they would have to think about that, don't you think?
Would the Lakers end up with Davis, then I hope either this happens that they have nothing left besides James and Davis or (and that would be just very funny) that there's a three-way-trade with Detroit, where Griffin goes to New Orleans and James is shipped to the hopeless situation that is Detroit.
Oh man, that would be so great. That LeBron James has to stay the rest of his career in Detroit just to play to sell tickets for the Pistons and nothing else. A 3-year farewell tour.
(to be clear I still rather see a Davis to the Celtics trade, but seeing James being LeBronned would be so satisfying)
