Report: Kyrie giving no indication he will leave Boston

Just wanted this to stew, marinate and fly in the face of that Ric Bucher story and every "report" about Kyrie wanting to leave the Celtics to play with Lebron, or supposedly just wanting to leave Boston, period.

A Boston reporter trying to cool the flames.  Sure seems legit ::).  Whatever is going on we’ll find out in 7 days or the summer.  Until then we have an nba finals to try to get to.

TP for that....Kyrie has Celtics team as main alpha, and a great coach and GM and owners who will give him what he needs to succeed here. Leaving for NY to never win a title again does not sound very enticing or joining his old alpha in LA as well. Boston is where Kyrie will become legend and hopefully he gets to beat Lebron in finals next year! 😁

1. Durant is not going to NY. Leonard is not going to NY.
2. I think the Pelicans are holding out for Boston and Boston only in the AD deal.
3. Kyrie is not going to NY by himself. That would be pointless and he would have worse talent if he would have stayed in Cleveland. No Durant or Leonard means a second tier max player would be the Knicks target. Not nearly enough to turn that franchise around.

Boston can give Kyrie the most money. Boston has the most talent to put around him for a long run. This rumor is just all Rich Paul to muddy the waters and create doubt about the Cs.

you basically posted "nothing"  .... a rehash as to what we know

What will strengthen the argument of him staying is, if he tells the world Bucher is talking BS

I don't understand why after the last game....reporters couldn't ask him some questions.  Ask him about his injuries then quickly ask about all of these rumors

I never understood the lure of being a New York Knick.  I understand LA Lakers, but I don’t get what is it about being a Knick.

The Knicks are no Yankees - sorry Knicks fan.  Your franchise has always been overrated; even in good times.

...being a Laker or Celtic is way cooler.

If AD stays put, I think we get him and keep Kyrie. If he makes his way to the Lakers, I could see Kyrie and KD in NY.

Visiting the City does not mean you have to play for them.
its always better if your playing for a winning organization.

Kyrie will re-sign and reup in Boston because he wont make the same amount  of money elsewhere. this is regardless of whether we get AD or not, because even if we do not get AD, Kyrie knows the organization is in good hands and would still be winning loads of games because the kids will eventually mature..heck they already are battle tested in the POs.

I'm now convinced there won't be a trade.  The 2 best potential offers- Boston and NYK both need until the offseason (Boston for the Rose Rule and NYK to see where the pick lands).

The Pels weren't moving too fast before this KP trade and now that 2 offers could both be way better than LA, I really don't see a deal happening.

In today’s NBA, a dominant wing is way more important than a dominant big.

I am a bit concerned about selling the house for AD.  Cs got further than AD ever has.

Basically, you either take Kyrie at his word in front of thousands of fans that he plans to resign and wants his jersey retired here, or you don't and prefer to believe rumors and unnamed sources. I suspect which one you believe will depend on your personal feelings towards Kyrie.
