i'm officially getting my hopes up for DeAndre if he gets bought out. I bet it'll come down to us and Milwaukee.

The Knicks are the team people need to be aware of. They could have cap for 2 max players and a top 3 pick.

KD/Kyrie and Zion would be crazy.
KD/Kemba and Barrett would be just as crazy.

The Knicks are the team that should scare Boston more than anything.

Meh. I disagree. There's a 1 in 6 chance they get Zion. Barret looks pretty good, I'm still trying to figure out what kind of player he will be at the next level.

I don't know if they have any starting quality players (good playoff team) on their roster. I'm not a fan of Knox. I like Frankie. I don't think Robinson will be a starter on a good team. Mudiay has proven he isn't. Kornet could be a role player, but meh.

Playing in Madison Square Garden is a big draw, but even if the Knicks can get Kyrie and Durant, it doesn't guarantee the pick will be good. Even if it is good, that player won't be ready to compete for championships for several years. Kyrie and Durant don't have time for that.

Would give Boston a rebounder and a big in the middle. Shift Al to PF...Mook to the bench. Makes Boston stronger

His phone will be ringing off the hook. Any number of playoff teams could use him. GSW (Looney? Nah give me DJ), Raps (id dump Monroe in a heartbeat), bucks (...), Houston (that would be great for him), Cs (I think this is up there with Houston as a good spot if CBS leans away from shooting some), I don't know if Denver has a need but maybe, blazers... I can't think of 1 playoff/contending team that couldn't use him!

Personally, I would love it if we could snag him. It would be like Rob but polished enough to know where to be on the court. This could be a huge get for us... we still have to ship bird out though, I'm not even sure DA is going to do that but everyone seems so sure, so I'll go with it.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Something tells me Cuban facilitated this trade to also give the finger to the Lakers. It created another big market for 2 max deals in NY.

That's a good question.  In terms of the Celtics, the answer really depends on the match-up.  We all know that Jordan's upside is tremendous if he can learn Brad's system.  I'm also VERY encouraged by his free throw shooting this season.  The biggest knock on Jordan throughout his career is that he has been a liability in the 4th quarter.

There is word that DeAndre Jordan may get bought out by the Knicks. Celtics need to use waive Bird and create a spot for Jordan.

Jordan is the big man we need.

The big man we need is the Timelord.

Ya I mean its not like they could trade a top 5 pick, DSJ, Frankie, Knox and a couple of their now numerous draft picks for another all star level player. Well except they probably could. Does that get you Beal? Griffin? Conley? Holiday?   A Durant, Kemba, Beal team is not bad at all.
