Was just giving it thought... If LA Lakers form a super team, tv viewership, ad revenue, etc would skyrocket because the Lakers have the largest fan base in the NBA by far

So these media personalities are colluding for the same interest- eye balls... To get a super team over there

I'm not too sure about that. It could be true, but it could also be not.

They have a vested interest in buying what Rich Paul is selling though, as he can offer them some scoops that nobody else can
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

This poll should be 100% yes. It's so obvious.

I think they have a vested interest in Lebron being on a contending team.

When in doubt, blame the media. They're the enemy of the American sports fan. ::)

of course.  Lebron is a prime draw.  the Laker franchise is a prime draw.  now they're together so the media is in heaven.  if they can add AD to that mix and make the Lakers a potential finals-caliber team, they'd be over the moon and force-feed Bron/Laker mania across the country

Rich Paul is trying to make the Pels and Cs panic. It won't work with DA.

Absolutely. I’ve heard people actively rooting for it because it gives them easy content.

yup....omg yes ....paparazzi, tabloids ,  TV junk sports shows .....millions of clicks and view .  If Davis has 40 articles aweek in Boston written about something he does .....well in LA ...he ll be on TV channel somewhere daily ,  written about Everyday in major sports sections of major papers .  Maybe 75 articles in various news outlets , interviews , etc.   in LA .   He will live and breath the public  24/7 .....and millions more fans who can't get enough.   Bron ....soaks up the money doing this , CP3 is on TV every night,, Blake used to be . In LA he is full blown celebrity instantly on the billboards .  TV contracts ...its way more about everything else than other cities

ratings will sky rocket ,  bank on it .....Lebron wants to..... Boston basketball would climb to a level unseen since Bird and KG eras .

Kyrie and AD on the Billboard .....think how many games would be on prime TV .    What a show down with GS !

Its worth going all out ,  Im sure the FO of Boston realizes this .
