If AD doesn't get traded and he doesn't sit through the rest of the season how do treat him? You boo him in every game? You treat every game as the fairwell tour of the Face of the franchise? You don't give a @@@@?

At least AD is telling them now, so they have a chance to recoup some assets for AD.

I feel like AD at least tried... It's just on the front office for not being able to put a decent team around him... I mean they gave over $60 million to Asik and Alexis Ajinca for Christs sake....

If I get Tatum, Brown, and a bunch of picks...I'm ok.

I pray we don't give up both...

I would be super worried that he'd get injured.

I would also be dejected and sad, but that wouldn't be a new feeling since I would be a fan of a New Orleans franchise.

I'm not giving up Smart over anyone minus Tatum to be honest... Smart is our Draymond. Someone you definitely need if you want to be a contender. I think he's past the point where he's just a simple 'role,' player. His defense/hustle/intangibles is hard to replicate.

I probably wouldn’t show up to the games which is what they already don’t do anyways.

They had a good team going till Cousins got hurt last year..still dont know why they didnt resign Cousins and Rondo..Davis seem happy with those 2
C/PF-Horford, Baynes, Noel, Theis, Morris,
SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

I feel the same. Smart is worth more to us than as a trading piece to the Pelicans. Keep Smart and find another way to make a deal with the Pelicans.

What I've read is that they did want to resign Rondo, but that the Lakers gave Rondo an offer and he immediately bailed on them.

He didn't 'immediately,' bail on them. They offered Payon a $2.3 million dollar contract, which he felt miffed at, because they didn't even offer over 5 million for him. And he was apparently seeking $16 million for 2 years, which is pretty reasonable starting rate for a starting PG, especially someone like Rondo who has improved his free throw % and 3P %, all issues that we Celtics fans have come to know way too well.

Nice that there are people here with more inside knowledge. TP.

In that case I certainly understand Rondo's decision. That Pelicans team from last year was pretty good. Dumb that they didn't make it a priority to get Rondo back. Pelicans fans also still love Rondo.
