Corporate Money ruined NASCAR
ACC Sports
NBA

at least i got to live during the good, old, days and enjoy the sports as they originally intended.

You must be awfully old because basketball was originally intended to have a stoppage after every basket where they used a stick to pop the ball out, followed by a jump ball. Fortunately the lack of shot clock meant it didn't happen all that often.

So players shouldn't be allowed to choose to play wherever they want? Should they simply just, "shut up and do as they're told"?

I don't have as much an issue with Durant but I think there should be rules against players "colluding" through their agents to create these curated teams.  Free Agency is one thing, become a FA, go where you want, fine.  But all this other stuff is a different story.  And in particular, this instance with Davis bothers me.
It really does seem like the balance of power there doesn't make a ton of sense.  The whole idea behind that Rose rule, I guess, is that teams don't put together unbeatable teams with too much talent... but there's nothing stopping Durant from taking a significant paycut to join a 73 win team and break the league competitively for a few years.

Durant should never get judges for what he did when lebron James has designed every [dang] team he’s been on for his own liking.  Goat my ass
i disagree with that a bit.  I think what Bron did and what Durant did are very different and I explained it a bit in this video rant from last season:  https://youtu.be/4DSUEnBclQ8

I feel excited. Boston is best placed to land AD.

And I love AD. Rate him as most talented player in the league for several years now.
but... but I love Tatum

No other player I would trade for Jayson Tatum.

Hard to let Tatum go, but it's Anthony Davis.
What would you need to see from Tatum to make you see him as untouchable in even an Anthony Davis trade?

If Tatum grows and becomes a 6-11 player, that makes him untouchable.

Every time the Celts won a championship, they always had a star big man.
From Bill Russell to Dave Cowens to Robert Parish to KG, Celts always needed a star big man to win a championship.
That's why even if Tatum is one of my favorite players, he has to be sacrificed for another championship.
I just don't think the Celts can win another championship if Al Horford is the best big man on the Celts.

What lebron did was worse.  He gets no defense.  Are u kidding me?  Look around the league, he has changed the landscape just because of his decisions.  I’d never blame someone for wanting to go to a contender. What lebron is doing is collusion and manipulation.  The guy gets to build the team he wants wherever he goes.  Get outa here other that mess.

, he eye balls the team with the best assets and moves in and sets up shop.   Although , Heat only showed him HOW to go about this and helped train him with Spo as the yes man coach.  He wore out Wade and Bosh .  Once they were toast , he had to find another cash cow team .  Cavs were ripe for the picking .  They had a GM more than willing to let Lebron be the defacto coach , GM , call most of the shots .  He went in won a title and then burnt the place to the ground.   he choses places that will allow him to be more, than a player .  He moves in and sets up shop.   The Lakers are under extreme pressure to,be in the finals every year and they now have FO that will submit to any and all antics Lebron and his Camp  ::) or mob want.

Poor Luke is trying to be a coach .  With Bron , this will only get you fired.   RULE 1 ...All orders are giving by LeBum .
