Jaylen struggled early, then injuries that effected his shooting. After listening to analysts parrot the same garbage without any interest of his recent run of good play and shooting.

With Anthony Davis leaving it was nice to see Jaylen put up some numbers with his shooting and transition play.

Thank you for being the voice of reason on this Roy. The conversation surrounding Jaylen is as if hes playing like Ingram this year and hes not. Short of that horrendous start, he looks very similar to Jaylen of last year, just with less minutes.

I'm a detractor of Jaylen. Yet I have to admit he has played well of late. Jaylen is a good kid and root for him to do well but I grow tired of seeing the same shortcomings being repeated over and over.

IMO if Jaylen can begin to finish more through contact at the rim he'll be a force to be reckoned with. Too many times in the past the slightest nudge at the rim and Jaylen misses his finish. Then he goes to the line and get's one of two FT's. (net potential loss of 2 points)

Of late he works his way into the paint and finds clear space, rather than force the matter jumping into defenders as he did in the past.  His 3 point shooting is good, much like last year.

He gained a beautiful short range jumper though, a very good counter move when he's trapped. Not everyone learns to finish, and Jaylen might not have the dexterity to do so, but you gotta appreciate his growth.

Perception and image is everything. After that bad first month Jaylen Brown has been at least as good as Morris and Tatum.
I've always believed in him and I think he's a huge part of our future and he should get more playing minutes.

TP for starting this topic.

He still looks like a poor mans Paul George to me - if he ever learns to hit his free throws he'll be a force.

Over his last 15 games he's averaging 14.5 ppg on 50/46/75 shooting and he seems as engaged on defense as he's ever been. He's settling in and playing his role very well.
