It’s everyone who expected Gordon to be back to all star form already.  This was a SERIOUS injury and it’s goin to take time to make it all the way back. If he’s all the way back by playoffs that would be amazing but if not I think everyone should just hope he’s back to Utah Gordon for next season - and I believe he will be.

I think everyone in the org expects him to be an integral part of our future still - it just may not be this season.  No need to get so worked up about him.  He’s working his way back and doing his best.

But the problem is Hayward is impeding the progress of Jaylen Brown and Brown is taking minutes and shots away from Hayward.

It's a problem that can only be solved in the summer once Anthony Davis becomes available.

If the Pels want Tatum for Anthony Davis then both Brown and Hayward can stay.

Out of the 3 wing players, Tatum, Brown, and Hayward, one has to go.
Not immediately of course.
But having those 3 wings is not the long term solution.

I took hundreds of downvotes on Reddit for saying Hayward could take 18 months to get healthy. Not only were fans expecting him to be a star immediately this season, but a good portion expected him back playing like a star in the playoffs last year. 

Yes, a big part of our contender expectations were built on the idea of us having multiple (as many as 5) stars.  We have 1 + horford.

I disagree.  They can all stay if you get rid of Rozier.  Then go with a three guard rotation of Kyrie, Smart and Brown with Tatum, Hayward and Mook at the 3 and 4 and Horford and Baynes/Theis at the 5 according to match up.  Rozier's 22 minutes get distributed between the 8 guys and everyone gets their minutes and shots.

its all over the net ,  unfortunately its correct ,  I think the Celtics would play together better with him sitting AT HOME watching on TV .

trying to play Hayward is messing with the teams chemistry. too much

At some point DA needs to step in and right the ship   before CBS and his undying love for Gordon sinks it.

I gave up on Hayward two weeks ago. He should be out of the rotation until he gets 100% confident again.

Lol. No sadly, Hayward is a VERY big part of the problem. A 30 million dollar per season player who's playing like garbage.

Nah man, everyone knows the goal should be to beat the Warriors in a game in January. We should be focusing on what will get us the best regular season record, not what will help the team prepare for the playoffs

The only way Hayward can regain his form is to keep playing through his struggles.

Sure, that might mean fewer regular season wins, but it will serve the team better in the long run to let Hayward play through this so he can get to where he needs to be.  If he's still struggling in the playoffs, yeah, then you might have to sit him.

I agree that Hayward's minutes should be limited.  We need to build Brown's and Rozier's confidence for the playoffs. Hayward is sensible and team-oriented-he won't see this as a slight
