Could Kyrie Bolt for Lakers This Summer?

I know this thought makes me sick as we all look to a deep playoff run and then a run at Anthony Davis this summer paired up with a re-signed Kyrie.

However, if the season doesn't end well or if there are more instances like in Orlando where Stevens draws up a play with Kyrie expressing disapproval, does Kyrie consider walking?

And if so....could he join Lebron in LA?

For the Celts, I think we'll be fine and continue to be competitive. However the goal is to win a championship and replacing a special talent like Kyrie will be hard. I am sure Ainge will look to do so (see free agent point guards below.) Just hoping this isn't something that could be in the cards.

Not a chance.

Kyrie may have buried the hatchet with LeBron, by way of apologizing, but why would he want to go back to being in his shadow?  Whatever team Kyrie signs with he's going to be the alpha.  That can't happen on the Lakers.

I agree with KGK. 

Kyrie wants to be the centerpiece of a team.  He doesn't want to essentially admit defeat by crawling back to Lebron.

The LeBron been wasn’t real, but I don’t think he’d go to the Lakers.  He could definitely leave, but I doubt that would be where he’d go.

maybe being an Edited.  Profanity and masked profanity are against forum rules and may result in discipline. to teammates. Ignoring his team for weeks throughout the playoffs, things like that that we’ve heard. He probably wanted to be the bigger man get over it and put things behind him so he can move forward. Kyrie looks happy here I don’t see him leaving.

I find it hilarious that Nick Wright and Max Kellerman have bashed Kyrie whenever they can over the past few years, but now that there's some rumors that he could team up with Lebron in LA, both of them are pushing for it LOL. And remember, Max is a Lakers fan too.

If the goal is to win another championship then going to the Lakers is not the answer.

Lebron has already missed a lot of games due to injury.
And he will be 35 years old when next season starts.

Like Shaq said, nobody beats Father Time.

What the Lakers did, by signing Lebron, is like what the Celts did in 1994 when they signed a 34-year old Dominique Wilkins.

The purpose of the signing was to make Celtic fans go to the Garden to watch Nique in green.
But it was obvious Nique wasn't going to bring the Celts another championship.

It's the same case with Lebron and the Lakers.
Nobody is expecting the Lakers to win a championship with their current roster.
But the Laker fans will pay to see Lebron in a Laker uniform.

Speaking of sharing the shadow, in the same city, how would you rate the Clippers chances of landing Kyrie? Especially if they get another star (Kawhi) to pair with.

Absolutely not. The media is trying to create something out of the fact that Kyrie called LeBum last week because he needed to pick Lebum’s brain on how to deal with overconfident youngsters. Anyone who plays will LeBum will always be second fiddle next to him which is why many players don’t want to play with him. Least of all Kyrie. He forced a trade to get out of his shadow why would he go back to a weaker team than the Cleveland team he left as well?
