76ers & Bucks both missed their shot at a legendary duo

An amazing thought crossed my mind recently that Philly and Milwaukee both could have had the devastating duo of Antetokounmpo and Embiid.

I am surprised that the media doesn't bring this up, in 2013 Philadelphia chose Michael Carter-Williams at 11 over Giannis which isn't a stretch to say that Giannis would have been in the same tier as MCW. The Bucks would also be kicking themselves as only the year after, they picked Parker over Embiid, perhaps Jo Jo's injury prognosis had their management worried but Parker had his fair share of faults.

How good do you think a 2019 duo of Antetokounmpo & Embiid would be?

Parker was the right pick for Milwaukee, too many questions surrounded Embiid’s health. Everyone knew IF Embiid could stay healthy, he would be an all-star player. Parker’s body and attitude just didn’t live up to his talent.

And Giannis was such an unknown, plenty of teams with great drafting history passed on him. MCW did win RotY after all! Go Hinkie!

OKC could have added Giannis (instead of Adams three spots earlier) to Westbrook and Durant. NOP could have had him alongside AD.

How about Cleveland? They could have went with a Kyrie-Giannis-Embiid trifecta (PLUS a max free agent if not LeBron).
