Not going anywhere winning only every third or fourth game...Offense is bad and now the defense is too.

Eh...Celtics often play poorly on New Year's Eve, and games on this date are usually a crapshoot across the board in the NBA every year.

I will say if the Spurs exploded like they did tonight in the second half they would've blown out a lot of teams by 20+ points.

Of course a lot of it was due to poor defense from us.

C's need Baynes back badly. Let's be honest, Theis has been very underwhelming this season.

I know people are going to be mad after this but give SA some credit. They balled out, Collins was unconscious.

I definitely give SA a lot of credit, Pop said all the right things in their locker room and they came out all fired up and shock and awe’d us in that 3rd then kept their composure once they had the lead. We fell apart again when we started missing shots our defense dropped off. They recovered but it was too late.

Hayward 0 points it’s 1 step forward 2 steps back for him again. 5 assists but 0-6 is pretty bad.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Hayward didn't even make a shot tonight.

Really earning that 30 million...

The team's up-and-down season will not change until he does something or they just move on from him.  He is just giving them nothing.

Yeah I'm not that upset about this loss.  The Spurs thoroughly outplayed us in the 2nd half with unselfish playmaking.  DeRozan killed us with his dribble penetration and passing and they just couldn't miss from 3.

IM NOT THAT UPSET

how many times have i read that these last 3 months? ****

will we keep seeing this the next 3 months?? LOL

people we have issues
LET'S GO CELTICS!

I thought after his last two performances, Yabusele would have earned more of Brad's trust but he only had 4 minutes tonight.

It's been a series of troughs and crests for Hayward's progress. Tonight was a trough.

He is not a center.

I don't blame Theis one bit, he has to play out of his position , meaning what he does, too bad Horford plays like a panzy and cant be that force down low and allow theis to be his natural hustle guy effort. Seems like only Smart is allowed to do that. Theis is a solid bench player but now hes forced to try to do his best against monsters down low.

C's need something out of Hayward. This is starting to get ridiculous. Not one point...So far this has been a total waste of max money

Let's be honest... Hayward has made zero progress so far this season nearly halfway through. You wonder if he just doesn't fit in with this team and it's not just the injury.
