Kanter relegated back to Knick bench, who clearly are going into full tank mode.  Would not be surprised if he is bought out after trade deadline. Could he be had for a second round pick and Jabari Bird? He is on the last year of his contract.

He is an offensive rebounding machine, which a team like us that takes a lot of 3's could utilize effectively.  Not sure of his stats on defensive boards, but can't be worse than what we currently have.

It's funny you mention that because I was thinking the same thing about the possibility of adding Kanter. Problem is he is making 18+ million so I don't think it's possible to trade for him but a buyout would be nice.

Enes Kanter was about as despondent as we've seen him in NY - 0-for-6, booed all night and  not happy with limited role in blowout loss. Kept repeating, "I just want to play basketball. ...I don't understand why they are shutting me down. I just want to go out there and win."

No thanks. He could single-handedly make us a bad defensive team when he's on the court.

I would sign this guy as a buyout candidate for the sole purpose of never having to face him. He obliterates the Cs every team he plays them. In OKC. In NYC. It doesn’t matter. Dude has a career game every time vs the Cs.

Buy out candidate, sure why not, but hes gonna want a bigger role and plenty of suitors considering he will be cheap.

Trade? Absolutely not. He really isnt that good.

Yup. Definitely better to have on the roster than Jabari Bird.
