Too much eggnog >_<

Doesn't phase Harden since he's always at the club, but for everyone else...

I hear Jared Sullinger wants a shot at doing the dirty work rebounding for the celtics. Cut Jabari Bird and give Sully a call.

Not going to happen here, because he blew here.

Now that I saw his current shape, I might really consider it. He look much more leaner now than he was in the NBA. His biggest enemy in his NBA career was his conditioning and lack of discipline.

Ainge won't they gave him a millions chances.   Is he losing weight or just not eating as much because Chinese Cusine is not what you get a Chinese Restaurant.   Also weak league, and this move would be beyond desperation.

What we used to see in games like this was Al stretching the floor drawing the opposing center out.
I haven't seen last night or recently. We need Al back shooting 40% from 3 (as well as other guys...)

Been saying for a few weeks now...cut J.Bird and sign a beefy PF off the scrap heap to a 10-day contract.  Gotta bridge the gap until Baynes returns.

You're right.

What makes me sad as I read your post is realizing that we're saying the same kind of thing about half the roster, it seems.

Just need Hayward to get back to form ...

Just need horford to get healthy and play more like last year ....

Just need jaylen brown to find his role and get his shot back ...

Just need baynes to get back on the floor and take a bigger role ....

Just need Tatum to be more consistent with his shot selection and aggressiveness ...

The most consistent guys on the team are Kyrie and Morris.  Morris is in a contract year, go figure.

I agree with the first one, he has to prove that he's really good in maybe the Euroleague to prove that he has a shot at returning to the NBA. However the second one is untrue, there are a ton of food choices in Shenzhen (including western cuisine), and I don't think Sully loves Chinese cuisine to the extent that he forgoes eating Western meals lol. I'd say he has really lost weight, but his skillset is still awful for the modern NBA (not very switchable, can't shoot 3s well, can't protect the rim) so he's still not NBA material.
Jaylen Brown for All-NBA

Like I always said.

Houston is a one trick Pony - Especially when CP3 isn't playing.   Can't see how teams still can't figure it out....

When we started doubling Harden at the three point line, he started to throw the ball away. Brad needs to vary his defenses on occasion. He sticks with the game plan too long.

Thus, fifth place in the East.

The rebounds aren’t the worst thing. Our bench with Hayward+Brown is super janky. We really need to figure out an offense when Kyrie isn’t on the floor. More post ups for Brown? More catch and shoots for Rozier/Hayward? Sub Hayward in early for Tatum so that GH can stand in the corner while Kyrie and Horford do their thing? Have Tatum/Brown/Rozier lead the 2nd quarter like they led the team last year? Idk

Also, Harden got 9 free throws from 3 pointers alone. Plus, Rockets were on fire, hitting a lot of contested iso 3s (not Harden but guys like Rivers and House). Imo, relying on that equals no rings.

I have read in several places that he is a vegan now.

Hard to keep a guy like Capela from dominating the offensive glass when your two best bigs are physically limited (Horford), or not playing (Baynes).

Being outrebounded is an expected outcome when you start the season with Jason Tatum as the starting power forward.  Things have evolved to now Morris starting but he is still only a swing, not a true power forward.

Against the Rockets, we didn't have Baynes but he is not all that great of a rebounder for his size.  We don't have a great rebounding team in terms of individual rebounding bigs.  It is something we need to improve.  Horford is our best big but is he even an average rebounder for a center?  Baynes is fine as a big off the bench.  Williams may get there as a reliable rebounder but not yet.  Then we have Theis, Yabusele, Ojeleye; who in that group is the guy that gets the tough rebounds?

The Houston game was an extreme example but this should not surprise anyone.
