young dee brown, i think yes
terrys better than dee was at this point in his career.

but once dee was like our best player, which was sad but true for awhile there, im not sure. he ended up having a decent career. probably terry will have a better one but we'll have to wait and see.

I can see them winding up with similar careers. Probably about equal so far but we'll see how Rozier goes moving forward.

Boy, I am happy with Terry Rozier but I remember Dee Brown as a better player.  He also suffered a serious injury early in his career:

Quote
But alas it all came crumbling down for Dee.  He suffered a brutal pre-season injury on October 30, 1991, where he tore cartilage in his left knee (his jumping knee).  Arthroscopic surgery revealed a peripheral detachment of the cartilage and repairs were made.

Rozier may prove more durable and may compile a better long term career but I don't think Rozier is the athlete or overall player that Dee Brown was.

Rozier a better shooter, a much better ball handler-does not drive as well.

Not sure I agree with this as far as the shooting is concerned. Rozier is a well below average shooter overall and at best a decent 3 point shooter.

Has Rozier ever shot over 40% for a season?

Uh, Rozier is not a better shooter.  Career from 3PT Brown 35.7, Rozier 35.5.  Career from 2PT Brown 46.9, Rozier 39.6.  Career from FT Brown 82.5, Rozier 77.2.

Rozier is a better rebounder but a worse passer.  Rozier is the better defender, but because of his awful shooting (especially form 2) he is a worse overall offensive player than Brown.

Again though Rozier can still improve the shot selection and shooting percentage (especially in close) and if he maintains his better defense, will end up as a better player when all is said and done.  He does have to improve his shooting.

I would attribute Dee Brown's better shooting numbers to his being a better driver getting more at the hoop shots.  But I am going on memory nothing more - so mainly opinion.

My memory is that Dee was overall a flop as a PG - Terry while not a natural point showed he was a coachable PG last year, IMO, short leash stick to the game plan..

I'd say Rozier is much better rebounder but not much better at anything else. Yeah, the injury significantly impacted Brown's career. Will have to see Rozier play a few more seasons to see if he gets better with likely more playing time on a different team.

Rozier in last year's playoffs was a really good NBA starter.

Coming off the bench, he plays solid defense and is a streaky shooter.

I think Rozier is best if he's "fitted" correctly with his team and has proven he's better as a starter than a bencher....(he gets traded)

Dee brown played when my kids were toddlers and we owned a restaurant. I missed most of his career.

I do know that Steve Grogan is ranked 4th in the NFL all time for rushing TD's by a QB. He retired when Dee Brown was drafted.
