At least we kept starting guard De'Anthony Melton scoreless tonight.

Phoenix has won four in a row. They are a better team than they were before the trade.

Look on "the bright side"? Is that a Suns pun? Too soon! ;D

There isn't.

This team will just be lucky to carve out 2 wins in round 2 of the playoffs. Unless....

Tatum suddenly becomes the stud we all expect him to be. ( he ain't there yet, still inconsistent and has been just a 17ppg player)
We trade JB, or JB turns into good Jeff Green and not bad Jeff Green which we have been seeing the last month.
Or GH turns back the clock and remembers what made him an all star in 2017...until then this team is toast.

On the bright side, we will be trying to win a championship, while they will be hoping for the top lottery pick. I would rather be in our position.
GSW lost and has just 1 loss less than we do. Finals HC, finals HC, finals HC...(Ommmmmm)

I just want more Timelord
He played good tonight, rolled good , defense on position, protect the rim, limit the fouls, offensive rebound

He played 24 minutes, could be a record for him.  I doubt he has the wind to keep that up.

Why did Semi play only 12 minutes, and Theis only 21?  No wonder on the rebounding differential.

The plan was for Theis to come in and finish the game with about 5-6 minutes left, but Ayton was destroying him so Brad went back to Williams. Semi was garbage on offense and it is hard to roll with Smart, Semi, and Williams in big minutes (never mind Brown and Theis).

Honestly, this loss is about as bad as it gets. sure, the Suns have been a bit better as of late and we have a couple of injuries, but we are still a MUCH better team on paper. We were also at home with plenty of rest. I am sure everybody was laughing after such a dominant 1st quarter - this was about losing focus and they couldn't re-group until after it was too late.

What were you a slug when you were in your early 20s.   He should be fine.

No need for insults.

This is the NBA and Williams himself said a few weeks ago that he was winded.

People are still so impatient with Gordon...

I'll literally start worrying in 3 months.

Was at the game last night, I'd like to seem him work on his positional defense.

One of the main reason Ayton went off was because Robert puts so much focus on producing highlight reel blocks he doesn't box out as much and keep a low stance. He can swat guards attempts out of existence but Ayton ate him alive on several possessions.

Don't want to sound overly negative though. It's tough to tell how much they should try to reign in that side of his personality that has him chasing so many blocks maybe just refine it a bit so he's just a hair less predictable. All that being said Timelord has shown so far that he is an absolute force around the basket.

You know what would make us forget about these horrible losses?

Wins against Milwaukee and Philadelphia in the next two games. Here's hoping the celtics feel like playing basketball.

Get ready to get disappointed.
Gordon Hayward the Allstar ain't  back.. He is what he is now.. A glorified Evan Turner paid as a superstar.

Funny, when we smash weaker opposition in historic fashion, the haters are mum. Then we lose to a bad team (that’s playing well) while undermanned, and they come out.

These next couple games will be tough without Baynes (and presumably Horford), but yeah, we can go beat these two teams and nobody will care about a loss to Phoenix.
