Tonight it's Minnesota, with a net of +5.3 points at home this year vs the Celtics +1.6 points away.  They're 9-3 at home, 7-3 in their last 10 and on a 4-game win streak.

But our starters look good, great net rating, and our deep bench looks dangerous.

They're the toughest team we play til Detroit on the road 12/15.  If we win tonight, we can go 6-0 between now and 12/14, which puts us at 18-10. We'd take 4th in the East in the process.

Win tonight and home wins vs NYK, NO and ATL and road wins at CHI and WASH seem possible.

Not to count the chickens before they're hatched, that's not the point of this post.  The point is, if we want to be a contender this season, we need to pull a Toronto and go on a quick 6-game win streak now, while the opportunity's there.

18-10 certainly sounds a lot better and with the blowout last night there is really no B2B excuse.

Should hopefully have Al and Brown back tonight, too.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

I will go out on a limb here as well and say we will have 2 10 plus game winning streaks before this season is over. 8) I thought by end of the year, it should start looking better for us. I think when Hayward is fully back and integrated and his mind allows him to be himself, we will become unstoppable. We already see recent signs of that occurring so I am encouraged.

Defend everyone else and encourage Wiggins to take 30+ shots and we should have an easy win.

I would like to see Kyrie-Smart-Tatum-Morris-Al start and see what we've got with that group.

Since our young guys struggle on the road, I'd like a 2nd group of Hayward, Brown, Baynes, Theis and Rozier, though starters will be mixed in.  I like the mix of vets and former starters.

EDIT: I also wouldn't mind Robert Williams getting some burn on KAT.

Is Hayward playing tonight or are we sitting him because of the back to back?

He said it would depend on how his ankle feels today, but was hoping to give it a go tonight. We should have heard something by now either way though.

One game at a time guys.

That mantra is for the players, not the bloggers.

Those ain’t asylum rules.  What about our scorching hot takes?
