Hope everything is ok with Mike and his family.

I know Tommy does not go on the road games, at first I thought maybe Mike asked off for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend, but this is becoming a trend.

I should probably know where he is, but I am in upstate New York - out of the loop.

Thanks in advance.

I believe it was his birthday on the weekend he probably decided not to go on the road trip.
Any odd typos are because I suck at typing on an iPhone :D

Not to be sacrilegious here, but I'm really enjoying Kyle Draper and Scal doing the broadcasts together.  More so than Mike and Tommy/Scal.

Don't get me wrong, I love Mike and Tommy, but I've personally been listening to them for 20+ years now.  I like Mike and Scal too, but the chemistry's not great.

I think Kyle and Scal work really well together, great chemistry, friendly banter, they're making jokes with each other.

Ya I think I'd rather listen to Kyle and Scal.  (Though would also love something like Mike and Tommy doing home games, Kyle and Scal doing away games, best of both worlds).

Draper has definitely improved a lot. He was pretty bad last season when he filled in it was like he was nervous and couldn’t keep up with he play. Now he’s more relaxed and not trying to be as much like Mike (who talks quite quickly). Mike and Tommy are still my favorite commentator pairing but Kyle and Scal have done a good job on this road trip.

We could always do Tommy and Gorman at home and Kyle and Scal on the road. Let's compromise!

I can't stand Heckle and Jeckle.

I feel like i'm listening to two drunk guys in the stands.

I can hardly wait for Mike to come back.

Yeah Scal and Draper definitely provide a change of pace...but Gorman is just so smooth

Gorman is the whole reason I became a Celtic fan. He is the best announcer in sports.

They work really well together because they both stink.

Scal can’t keep up with Mike, because he’s effortless and Scal tries way too hard.

Mike and Tommy have been doing it forever and almost never speak over each other. They complement each other perfectly.

I like Mike and Tommy because I grew through my life with them, my son likes Kyle and Scal could it be a generational thing?  Anyhow it may well be Kyle and Scal someday....

Mike has such a calming soothing voice.
Measured but still interesting approach.
Is always respectful of both teams.

Man is an institution.

Whatever it may be I hope he returns soon.

Kyle is an adequate fill in but I really miss Mike. We have a lot of fill ins lately including Amanda filling in for Abby. She's pretty good as an interviewer and not bad on the eyes either.

Draper & Scal definitely have the chemistry part down but Draper is still pretty awful at the actual play by play component of a telecast.  Especially when you compare to the gold standard Gorman.

IMO, Draper still has a lot to improve on with play by play.
