The Baynes 3's have to stop.  Unless they're within the flow of the offense and they're shot from the corner, it's not a good shot at all.

Believe it or not, he's actually shooting better from above the break than from the corner (33.3% from the corner, 35.5% overall meaning that above the break is above 35.5%).

Sample sizes are super small, but it kind if makes sense if his defender is further away from him on above-the-break 3s than corner 3s

Last season I think Baynes was really only shooting corner 3's, and he shot them at a good %.  This year he's taking way more shots from the top and the wing areas of the 3 line.  I'd expect his corner% to be higher eventually.

Mavs impressive.  They play aggressive D and have been solid offensively.  They look well on their way to a quick transition from the Dirk era.

We're still very well in this. But we've got to stop with the stupid turnovers.

Looking for threes first, not driving to the rim, not getting to the line... Celtics basketball... sigh.   :'(

Could be. I wonder how similar players (older big men with good mid-range that they extended out to 3 point range) would compare

Who even is a comp for that? Horford, Marc Gasol, Brook Lopez?
I'm bitter.
