Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Both that video and the one of him dribbling on basketballs ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UWza40i5d-w ) are faked stunts being used as viral marketing for his Nike "Black Magic" colorways that came out today:  https://sneakernews.com/2018/11/22/nike-kyrie-5-black-magic-release-details/

In both videos, he's still got his "Shimmy Hendrix" hair-style and he's wearing the same shoes and shorts - so they were likely shot the same day he shot this Nike commercial featuring his dad:  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QOzZDdXetUA

You'll also notice that the basketballs featured in the videos are Nike balls... the official NBA balls aren't Nike balls... so they wouldn't be using those balls in an actual practice.

Both videos cleverly draw attention to the Nike sneakers he's wearing.  It's nice to imagine that Kyrie can defy gravity, but when Michael Jackson did that lean move they had to install little hooks on the stage that their special shoes could latch onto.  As for the one with him standing on balls - I use to try that when I'd work on my core and it's crazy hard... i nearly Haywarded myself once and I wasn't even doing dribble drills on them.

Fun, but just as fake as Kobe jumping over the Aston Martin.

That's super cute!  Maybe all the ensuing attention will motivate him to buck up and start winning some games.
