I think we miss Larkin. I have been saying it for a while now. For as limited as he is defensively, he made teams eat up their clock with the ball pressure full court. He also scored and ran the offense when we couldnt get our act together. He was a spark plug and he was a huge piece in some of our wins too. Was our best change of pace guy off the bench.

I think he is gone because they couldn't promise him minutes. He was pressed for them last season, it was believed that the minutes for Roze and Smart would already be lessened, what did we have for Larkin? Turns out, we are so bad that we would have found some for him, with the way we look maybe as many as last season if he played the same, unlike most of the guys.
It takes me 3hrs to get to Miami and 1hr to get to Orlando... but I *SPIT* on their NBA teams! "Bless God and bless the (Celts)"-Lady GaGa (she said gays but she really meant Celts)

Abdel Nader? You mean the guy who missed 4 consecutive free throws in a game last year?

Hmmm....probably not.

I kind of feel like Larkin was for us as TJ McConnell is for Philly. Not quite as good as him, but the same role. The only problem with keeping him is justifying to Rozier or Smart that he is going to get some of their minutes.

I'd take Larkin over the current version of Rozier.

No, at least not from a basketball point of view.

Larkin is in Turkey for a year, which kind of gives a sense of his market value.

Nader has gotten spot minutes for OKC, and I for one haven’t seen any of them. He has some intriguing skills and assets: good length and footwork; active hands on defense; shot fairly well from the arc last season with a decent sample size; got to the line at a fair clip; and in the G-League showed a repertoire of finishes and an excellent FT% - which however didn’t translate at the next level. Seems like a good teammate.

If I had to predict what happens after his rookie contract plays out, I’d go with something like: out of the league 25%; rotation player 20%, starter 5%.

'I was proud of Marcus Smart. He did a great job of keeping us together. He might not get credit for this game, but the pace that he played at, and his playcalling, some of the plays that he called were great. We obviously have to rely on him, so I’m definitely looking forward to Marcus leading this team in that role.' - Jaylen Brown, January 2021

Nader can't defend NBA level players and lacks foot speed.   He should fit in fine in OKC because he is a ballhog and they have Westbrook.
