This is from The Athletic new article regarding when Fultz visited and the workout:

“The workout and physical played a role in the Celtics electing to trade the first pick in the 2017 draft to the 76ers, eventually drafting Jayson Tatum with the third pick a few weeks later. After Fultz held his initial workout with the 76ers, he told reporters, “My knee is great. As you can see, I’m jumping pretty high and everything like that. It was just a situation where I had some stuff going on with my knee.””

Looks like Ainge thought he could fix Fultz shot but seemed concerned that “something was not right with Fultz”

A few conclusions:

-the workouts are not useless. The team truly does it and not for no reason like some people try to believe

- Ainge is the best

The real point is how the Lakers passed on Jayson Tatum for Lonzo Ball is beyond me.

Well if they didn't trade Russell, they wouldn't have Kuzma either (the pick traded to LAL from the Russell trade is what net them Kuzma I believe), but yeah imagine if they kept Russell, made a separate, smaller trade to nab Kuzma in the late 1st and drafted Tatum at #2. WOW!

And they still have Brandon Ingram.

Its easy to see that now but Tatum was not even surefire to be picked third, never mind a future star.  I’d say more than half of Celtic fans proffered someone else at #3 even after the first two picks were made.

What on earth has happened to this teams three point shooting.. 1-15 tonight and somthing like 7-60 over the last 6 quarters... That is downright ugly.

Sure.  So questioning a team not picking Tatum at 2 is revisionist history.

Man, we don't need anymore headcases/psychological problems on this team right now lol The team lacks enough confidence in itself as it is before adding Markelle "Yips" Fultz.
