Four starters have zero points at the half.  How many times has that ever happened in league history?

At this rate Boston is going to be lucky to be a 6 seed in the playoffs. Underachievers

this rivals the awful performances under the ML Carr regime

With 70% shooting in the second half? This squad will climb right back into this thang.

If I see one more 14 foot fall away jumper I'm throwing this laptop right out the *&%# window.

Here's a hot take: Brad can only coach underdogs. Maybe too much talent = too much overthinking.
2021 Houston Rockets
PG: Kyrie Irving/Patty Mills/Jalen Brunson
SG: OG Anunoby/Norman Powell/Matisse Thybulle
SF: Gordon Hayward/Demar Derozan
PF: Giannis Antetokounmpo/Robert Covington
C: Kristaps Porzingis/Bobby Portis/James Wiseman

This team is predicated on 3 pointers, step backs and fade aways. They simply have no desire to play inside

Brad Stevens has done a horrible job so far this year. He has had plenty of credit over the years and rightfully so but how many more games like this before he starts getting called out? No excuse there is too much talent to be getting spanked by a lottery team and possibly their 3rd loss in a row.

You'll be waiting a long time. Stevens can do no wrong on this site.
I dunno, he's been copping lots of flak (for good reason) as of late. Not sure what you've been seeing, but his rotations, timeout timing, and seeming lack of ability to motivate players has all been talked about

I'm really only here for the game threads anymore due to being busy at work, but I surely don't see much deserved criticism for Brad in those. In fact, I usually get scolded for bringing up any type of criticism about his in-game decision-making.

But good if people here are starting to hold him accountable and not blindly exalting him as the messiah anymore. He's a good coach, but I think at this point he's overrated, as he is just not that great at in-game/on the fly decision-making, which really hampers all that you said (rotations, timeout calling, etc.). And now add motivating players to the list.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

They need to draw from their reserves of character to overcome this

Need personnel for that. Al Horford is our best big and he's allergic to the paint.

I was genuinely concerned about chemistry with GH back---I remembered how out of place he looked last year during preseason.

Something's gotta change.
Larry Bird was Greater than you think.

Brad isn't shooting the basketball.

He needs to show some balls in that locker room. This is sad.

Down 20 to the worst team in basketball...after 2 straight losses. This team has little pride

Brad needs to trot out different starters to start the 3rd. Shake it up!

He should open the 3rd with our bench. Sit all the starters until they stop screwing around.
