I was honestly surprised there was as much debate over the option as there was considering he's a project big coming off his rookie year on a veteran-heavy team. I couldn't see Boston cutting bait on a guy with really good physical tools that early.

There are some decent looking big men in this draft (Bol Bol please) and Williams first 10 minus of NBA play looked a lot better than Yabuselle's.   Yabuselle may have had his option picked up but I really don't see him on the roster past that cheep 4th year.  Filler in a Rozier trade maybe?   But then again Danny may give Rozier his 20 million ....  probably not.   So, filler in a Rozier trade. maybe

The money part matters. He's inexpensive on a team that will need to find cheap labor going forward. He has upside so it's worth the money.
