Time to switch to the Bruins. This hurts my eyes to watch. 0-11 from 3. 14-45 from the field. 6-11 from the line. High school teams shoot better than this. And it's been this way all year. Just don't get it. How can an entire team shoot this poorly.

Don't worry...they just need to gel....everything will be fine.  ::)

How long do we wait?  Why are we the only ones they need time to gel when we supposedly have the most talent?

How about the 20 game rule?

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Smart, Rozier, Tatum, Morris have at least played hard.

I've come to terms with the Celtics never hitting a 3 point shot again. It's been tough, but, I'm ok with it now.

TP - thinking essentially the same thing.

This has been rough - it has to get better...right?? I hope we figure it out in the next couple of weeks. We are REALLY bad!

Blame should be on the coach guys. He's allowing the bad shot selection, just like he did in the playoffs last year. It's great when the shota fall but you have to adjust when they're not. I've yet to see Brad make chamges when a game isnt flowing right.
Back to wanting Joe fired.

What I see is Tatum being used as a number one scoring option and Brown being used as a 5th scoring option. The whole "Brown didn't work on his game this year" just because you didn't see vids of him doing it is just confirmation bias of not liking Brown, IMO. Kyrie, Brown, Rozier, Smart, Horford, Hayward and yes, Tatum, are all shooting like crap. Is Morris the only guy that worked on his game this off season because he is shooting well?

I know points wise we haven't been terrible on def, but our def doesn't seem to be producing ANY turnovers / easy fast breaks dunks or anything.  We need to see the ball go through the hoop to get off this shooting slump.  Maybe some full court pressure / raised intensity on def will get us some easy looks and get us out of worrying about missing shots.

Seems like a lot of people are slamming Jaylen, but no one is playing well right now.  Brown had 3 shots in the first half and barely touched the ball on offense.  Hard to see how he is the main problem when he doesn't even touch the ball...

Kyrie took only 5 shots in the half. That's not good enough. He's the best scorer on the team, he needs to start playing like it. But he's too busy trying to be a "complete point guard" when that's not his game. He needs to get aggressive and do the thing he does best. If he's not going to attack and look to score, he's not bringing anything to the table.

They’re all trying to defer to each other too much

What a stinkfest this team is right now. How do you go oh-for-the-half on threes? I've been wanting to give this team the benefit of the doubt for the first 20 games, but I might have to extend that for the whole first half of the season. 60 wins is looking like wishful thinking.

Anyone else agree with chuck? We need brown and horford to shoot more
I do - no one doing the grunt work. Their defense sucks. That all speaks to lack of effort.

Brown still looks like he has the same issues as last year. Can't finish around the rim. Sketchy jump shooter. And now he looks like he wants to be anywhere but there.

I know its early but im willing to bet that there won't be any 16 game winning streak this season..

We are the lowest scoring team in the league when the league ave right now is 115ppg.

I am falling asleep in my lazyboy. Somebody let me know when brad starts making adjustments and demanding what his guys do.  Imagine a football coach just letting players do what they wanted. there is no excuse. NONE. it makes brad look stupid.  do we want to go to rim brad or just chuck??
LET'S GO CELTICS!

Baynes does the dirty things. That is why he needs to start.
