I think this is just going to be a season of disappointment. Neither Kyrie nor Hayward look anywhere near where they once were..

There is absolutely no chemistry on this team

Leadership is not there .

Might be a situation where they take a step back this year and next season be the one

way too early to be that much of a downer.

You see it all the times in sports...Ultra talented teams that just never figure things out
Yeah because five games is such a long time to figure things out. Lol. Please.
LeBron’s Heat took forever to figure it out. Still won 2 rings
Yep. Teams take time to gel. It's that simple. Not everyone can be the 2008 Celtics.

Good Lord, we're not even done with our fifth game yet! Calm your tits! lol
Seriously. We are just missing shots right now. Point blank. We are not going to keep shooting like this for 82 games. The defense has actually been pretty [dang] good thus far. Offense just needs to catch up and it will.

Defense has been good? Giving up nearly 50 in the first half and getting dominated on the boards. Defense is far from good

I see only regression. They are just  God awful. Getting blown out. And the sad thing is nobody cares but the fans
FIVE GAMES. FIVE. FREAKING. GAMES.

Jesus.

Are we now  officially the lowest scoring team in the league?
A team with a starting five composed of top 10 players of their draft class can be so putrid in offense is beyond me.

What a freaking brickfest this game is.

yeah. 5 games. 4 of which we've looked like a 40 win team.

There's something wrong with the Celtics.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Hayward, Tatum, Kemba, Grant Williams, Sleepy Williams, Edwards!

Anti:
Kanter, Semi, Theis, Poierier

And the missed free throws highlight that it's getting to our heads, too. We're making things worse by overthinking things and making bad decisions.
Recovering Joe Skeptic, but inching towards a relapse.

Little confused why they need time to gel. They are only adding Hayward. Kyrie played all but 2 months with this team. They should not look this lost.

Lol. You do realize that if we give up 50 in a half, that's pretty solid, right?

You are sounding absolutely asinine.

No question this is true... but still agonizing.

we were on pace to score 64 as of the first quarter. Doesn't look unrealistic after a half.

That’s a bit ignorant of context. Rozier, Tatum, Brown and Morris all have to change the way they play from the playoffs to now.
