That looked outside to me.

Cora and Benintendi agree
I'm bitter.

The home plate ump is not making any friends on the Sox tonight

Well, neither is Kelly lol

Benintendi strikes out on a ball outside, and then the ump calls a pitch down the middle a ball. Riiiiight

Some of the most inconsistent umpiring I’ve ever seen.

HBP, error on a double play ball, out, out, flair to center by Correa.

3-2.

I'm about as far from an expert as they come, but MLB officiating seems incredibly inconsistent to my untrained eye
'23 Historical Draft: Orlando Magic.

PG: Terry Porter (90-91) / Steve Francis (00-01)
SG: Joe Dumars (92-93) / Jeff Hornacek (91-92) / Jerry Stackhouse (00-01)
SF: Brandon Roy (08-09) / Walter Davis (78-79)
PF: Terry Cummings (84-85) / Paul Millsap (15-16)
C: Chris Webber (00-01) / Ralph Sampson (83-84) / Andrew Bogut (09-10)

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism
Benintendi strikes out on a ball outside, and then the ump calls a pitch down the middle a ball. Riiiiight

I realize there was a cross-up between Kelly and Vazquez, but that pitch was literally right down the middle.

As for Kelly, I thought he looked stellar. That snap movement on his breaking balls is insane.

Is it possible for one (defensive) player to be responsible for a loss? Nunez has been horrible tonight. If we are going to have shaky defense, I much prefer Devers; at least his bat provides some punch.

Nunez has been hero in last game o. D or goat...first two games vs Yanks he looked shaky in fenway..I am guessing error was his that I misssed.

Tomorrow's game is at 7? Interesting decision considering that the Pats have the night game

Admitted fairweatherfan (less cool than the poster), but who is our third baseman and how do we get rid of him?

That's pretty awful. The heart of our lineup goes down 1-2-3 with absolutely no resistance when we needed them the most.
