It's about time to start getting hyped for the next season. Let's post some of our favorite clips from last season and break down why we love them. Or just post em. Here's mine.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kUh5iEMlatMI must've watched this play 50 times after that game. Full speed, slow-mo, frame by frame. It was just so excellent. Seed basically assured, on the road against a team fighting for playoff position. No Hayward, Horford, Kyrie, Smart, or Theis. Jaylen wasn't long off his concussion.
We have Shane freaking Larkin draw a triple team by blowing past Rubio and Jaylen boxing out then releasing Ingles while Semi draws Gobert into the same space. This crosses both of them up and they wind up crowding in the lane with tons of open space.
Larkin flips to Semi playing center, who's curved through the lane and out to 3. The #1 defense in the league is now so shook that both Gobert and Mitchell come charging out at the very non-threatening Semi with nearly a full 4 seconds left. Jaylen pops out to the 3 point line.
Notice Semi now has TWO passes for wide-open 3s - Rozier's all alone in the corner. But he tosses it to Jaylen who catches it still stepping back and drills it from range.
Such a brilliant play and it's almost forgotten because we had so many last year.
