Wow!!! The Legend of Rask is growing!! What a game!!

He’s been unreal.

When Kyrie said the team was flipping a switch for the playoffs he was referring to the Bs.

rask is one of, if not the best, goalie the bruins have ever had. and this year he is really on a roll.

still a lot of time to go in this game and the series. but so far so good.  ;D
Whoa!!!! That's a hot take. I think Tiny Thompson, Gerry Cheevers and Tim Thomas might completely disagree, as do I.

Carolina played a fantastic game with their backs against the wall at home, yet Rask stole the win for the B’s  8)

I think this team smells blood. Wouldn’t be surprised if we swept Thursday night.

And here’s something interesting:

- Islanders sweep Penguins
- Hurricanes sweep Islanders
- Bruins maybe sweep the Hurricanes(??)

Although by that pattern if we do sweep it would probably mean we get swept by the Sharks or Blues in the Finals   :P

St. Louis got jobbed. I hate seeing games end due to bad calls.

This is the second game that San Jose won a game directly due to a bad call in their favor.

If the Bruins win tonight it's possible they could have 11 days of before the Cup Final. The NHL loves starting the Finals on Memorial Day. I can't help but wonder what a long layoff like that might affect the team.

Good game so far. Was surprised to see Chara out last minute. Hope everything's alright there.

Pastrnak needs to shoot the puck!!! He had the Canes goalie dead to rights twice and made bad extra passes.

Yep, too fancy.  Shoot the puck, and hope for a goal or a rebound.

  • Sometimes there's no sane reason for optimism.
About time! I was getting impatient waiting for the Bs to take a lead in this one  :P

Edit: Okay, two periods down and now a 2-0 lead. Let's see if we can finish this one off and then have a LONG break.

2-0.  It's good to see the big guns scoring.

I'm curious to see how much fight Carolina gives in the third.  I think they're going to bring it.

Bruins might be smart to offer some bonus money to all the Providence Bruins to come back for to play a couple exhibition games against the big league team to keep them from getting lax.

Probably against the rules but they are going to have to do something to try to stay sharp.

Wow, Bruins taking a 2-0 lead.

One period away from a Stanley Cup Appearance for the first time since 2013.
