I'm a fair critic of smart- I don't think he was a great pick for his draft slot, I think his contract is literally the max you'd have paid him, etc- but he's clearly the emotional leader of the Celtics, and extremely valuably to our team.

Smart is definitely a hustle leader. He's an intensity leader.

But he's not the goalie. He's not the one dude that remembers the toilet paper and the first aid kit on the camping trip.

He's not the guy that gets people up at 5am for practice or lifting.

He's not the guy that maybe gets players to visit the local historical thing and the 5 star restaurant so nobody gets arrested while in Vegas.

He's not a leader.  He's not a general.
