Good to hear.

Vanilla Theis became a huge binky of mine last season.

So excited to have Theis back. He was great against Embiid last year.
My biases, in order of fervor:
Pro:
Smart, Brown, Baynes, Irving, Tatum, Horford, Morris, Sleepy Williams

Anti:
Jabari Bird, Rozier, Yabu, Semi, Theis, Hayward

His role was expanding last year just as he was injured. He provides a nice balanced game off the bench. I'm so excited to have him back this year.

He's definitely a change up player. He gives the Celtics a different look...

We're getting Kyrie back, Hayward back, and Theis back.

It has been too long since I last saw a full healthy Celtics team.

This is great.

Yet another solid Big to throw at (and frustrate) Embiid.

I love this.

Only disappointing thing about Theis was his 3pt shooting. Hoping he lights it up from 3 this year.

It is not his forte, but he was solid 13/32 from deep since the New year.

Over his last 15-20 games he was shooting nearly 40% from deep I think. Went down at a bad time for him, and for us

Theis is a very versatile player off the bench and that is great to have.  He will be one of the better 9th or 10th players in the league.  Maybe he will surprise me and get ahead of Baynes and Morris and be our 8th player.  After Horford, we are pretty mediocre in terms of bigs.  Theis should get plenty of opportunity.  This is a great spot for him.

Who isn't excited about this season?

I don't actually think there is a pecking order outside the starting 5 and Marcus. Like it seems there are two groups. Baynes will play bigger minutes in some games, Theis in others. I guess there mpg will be roughly similar.

Definitely look for Morris to have his minutes curtailed this year, unless Tatum gets the sophomore yips..

Marcus Morris could be on the trading block one suspects...
