In the interview, Allen says he "has nothing against KG [Kevin Garnett]" and that "he has to understand that when you win, you're connected for life."

Allen also discusses when things started going downhill with Rajon Rondo.

"The last year, I realized there was a problem," Allen said. "There was a blowup in the locker room, I wrote about it in the book. I wanted to clarify it. I wanted to figure this thing out and move forward because we had 11 games left and we were going to the playoffs, and we had a chance."

"There were parts throughout the season where I was starting to like, feel this type of resentment towards me on the floor. And other people would tell me at first but I would ignore it because I don't like people getting into my team business but people would always say 'he looks you off...when you come off of a screen he sees you and he doesn't pass you the ball when you're open.'"

Allen goes on to express his displeasure with Doc Rivers' handling of the situation. He details the fallout with his ex-teammates in his upcoming tell-all book, "From the Outside: My Journey through Life and the Game I Love."

I still don't like you Ray Allen for going to the Miami Heat to join up with LeBron and company.

And I don't like Rondo now that he went to the Lakers of all teams, to team up with LeBron and his new company. Gonna have to boo Rondo every time he touches the ball at the TD Garden.

And Doc Rivers lulz surprised this joke is still around

I had no idea that Allen thought he was going to be drafted by Boston. Interesting that he said that he regretted not manipulating the process to ensure he came here.

You could see where his mindset is about being wanted from choosing UConn over UK to why he ultimately left to Miami. However, I think that the reason they wanted to work deals and with other players first is because Ainge was confident he wouldn't leave. He took it as though he wasn't valued. In addition, he took the Terry signing the wrong way. I believe Terry was going to be used as a score first PG off-the-bench, while Allen, with the emergence of Bradley, coupled with his reduced foot speed, was going to play a lot more SF that he previously had.

Honestly Ray Allen is starting to behave like the spouse that has an affair with her spouse's best friend to  spite the spouse, but lives to regret it after losing the spouse and realizing that spite is not fulfilling.

Just go away Ray, jeeze how many years as it been, people have moved on.

I respected Ray, loved him while on the team, until all this stuff came out.   I think he is borderline scum now.   His ego and Rondo's ego are at fault.  I think he deserves the ostracization because his actions deserve it.

I have come to forgive Ray as a fan. Watching them win it all was a time in my life that I will forever cherish. I guess that makes me more of a PP than a KG  :o

Allen never did anything wrong. Ainge tried to trade him. Then they tried reducing his role and having Bradley start. Then he realized the Cs window had closed. He was a FA and went to the team that gave him chance to win. Cs fans have an irrational hate towards a guy who was a large reason for winning that Lakers series.

TP for an almost perfect analogy.

What might be more analogous though would be that the person would not be the spouse’s best friend, but rather the spouse’s sworn enemy and rival. That’s a little more biting.

Judas is too good a name for him. Judas did what he did for the silver. Money didn’t even enter into it for Allen, and the motivation wasn’t ring chasing either. Allen did what he did to spite Rondo and Doc and DA, his “friends” (PP and KG) be [dang]ed.

Class act, like so many say about Catfish Ray? Not really. Just a spiteful, small, petty little diva.

He wasn't getting alone with teammates and not play like a star, that's the reason Ainge want to trade him, that's on him
