West looks like 2011 Lebron in this game.
Even at the end of the game, we lined up in different formation that he hadn't seen and he called out our play before I got the ball. I heard him calling it out. -John Wall on Brad Stevens
good find.Side tangent.. we should probably never compare athetes across eras because literally every player except for Bill would be an unacceptable athlete in today's game.

He missed 11 shots and what - 4 or 5 of them were because Russell blocked them? Could've easily dropped 40 without the best shotblocker in history running at him Great links Big, TP. Love Bob Cousy's goofy form and that Earl Strom was reffing - he was a legend at the end of his career when I started watching.

West seems like he'd be ok despite Russell making him look bad in the highlights. But Cousy and Tommy and even Havlicek (though he's very young here) don't look great in that clip.
I'm watching a lot of Bill Russell videos on the youtube channel Wilt Chamberlain Archive and there's some good stuff. Here's a short one of Russell running fast breaks (underrated ballhalndler for his time):https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PEs4KC4xHE0Here's one of Russell being interviewed on the first day of training camp, his first year as player/coach:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=i0ZWQkMOdo0But this is the best quality video I've seen from this era.
