This guy was real fun to watch. A true Celtic and he said that during his HOF speech. Once a Celtic ALWAYS a Celtic. Then he ended his speech with Go Patriots! Love this guy.

His nba carrier was not HOF  worthy but he was introduced but Larry Bird and I doubt Bird introduces anyone not worthy.

BTW Tp  to Dino for the tie 😉. Nice tribute to his country

I liked that detail very much.
Also, the part where he thanked the cleaning ladies.
I don't believe I heard that one before in a HOF speech.

BTW Kyrie was there in the audience.
Looks like he is supporting even the Celtics ex-players, not just the current ones.
Showing growth in his leadership skills and feeling as a part of the best NBA's family.

This is why there should be a NBA HOF.  I loved Dino, was sad he didn't stick around longer, but he shouldn't be in the HOF in this country.
2023 Historical Draft - Brooklyn Nets - 9th pick

Bigs - Pau, Amar'e, Issel, McGinnis, Roundfield
Wings - Dantley, Bowen, J. Jackson
Guards - Cheeks, Petrovic, Buse, Rip

I don't think it's just American hall of fame. I think it's for all basketball around the world. I remember the days when Dino was all we had to root for....

This is not what the HoF is about.

what makes you think I don't understand that.  That was my point from the beginning i.e. there should be a NBA HOF

Then what you wrote was poorly phrased. "He shouldn't be in the HoF in this country" means you disapprove of his induction in the HoF.

or you could just read the first sentence in conjunction with the second.

Yet, your expression was not very clear, even I now understand what you meant. Still, you missed the point. An NBA HOF is just something you would like to exist, but it doesn't. I would also like that this exists in my country but it doesn't. Maybe there will be some day.
Dino Rađa in Naismith memorial basketball hall of fame is the topic so why talk about something else.

P.S. Seems he used to attend Patriots games several times last years...

again that was my point.  There should be a NBA HOF.  Dino Radja just shouldn't be honored in the same place as Bill Russell, Larry Bird, Michael Jordan, etc. I'm sure his international accomplishments are great, but his NBA ones aren't.

Nope, the whole thing was phrased in an ambiguous way. As you can see from other comments, I was not the only one who found it awkwardly phrased. This is something you do often, and is hindering meaningful conversation.

In any case,  if what you meant is that Radja was rightful inducted in the real HoF, but should not be in the fictional Moranis HoF, that's perfectly fine with me.
