is playing for a spot on the Celtics this year after playing as a two way player last season. He has looked good in Summer League so far, averaging 18.0 points, 2.7 assists and 4.7 rebounds in the three games so far. Semi Ojeleye
is working hard this off season to improve his game, especially on the offensive end. He is already a lock down defender and should be a rotation player this season. He is averaging 10.7 points, 3.0 assists and 3.7 rebounds so far in Summer League. Guerschon Yabusele
, in spite of being a fan favorite, is playing to show he belongs on the Celtics. He is averaging 12.3 points, 2.3 assists and 5.3 rebounds. Trey Davis
didn't play in the first two games but came on strong in the third game with 11.0 points, 4.0 assists and 4.0 rebounds. He had a 52 point game for the Red Claws last season and could be one of the Celtics 2 way players this season if he plays well enough in the remaining games. New York Knicks Roster

was booed on draft night just as Kristaps Porzingis was when he was drafted. He is making all those Knicks fans feel a bit foolish with his performance in Summer League so far, averaging 23.3 points, 2.0 assists and 7.3 rebounds. Allonzo Trier
has played well for the Knicks so far with 17.0 points, 3.0 assists and 6.0 rebounds.

was signed to a multiyear contract in February of last season. He missed the end of the season with a broken jaw but is playing well in Summer League with 13.3 points, 1.3 assists and 3.7 rebounds. Game Notes
The Celtics begin the playoff portion of Summer League against division rival New York Knicks. Like the Celtics, the Knicks team is a combination of rookies, second year players and undrafted hopefuls. Win or lose, they are guaranteed one more game after this one.
If the Celtics win this game they will go on to play on Saturday at 6:30 PM ET against the winner of the Pelicans/Heat game. If they lose this game, they will play on Friday at 4:30 PM ET against the loser of the Pelicans/Heat game. If they lose they are out after Friday's game. If they win and then win on Saturday, they would play on Sunday at 8:00 PM ET. If they win that game, they would play on Monday at 10:30 and if they win that game they will play on Tuesday at 10. A loss in any game will send them home.
Both teams may be missing a key players. Frank Ntilikina, the Knicks point guard of the future, suffered a groin injury and is listed as day to day. This is giving Allonzo Trier an opportunity to make an impression. Also listed as day to day are Isaiah Hicks (groin) and Luke Kornet (hamstring).
The Celtics rookie, Robert Williams III hasn't played since the first quarter of the Celtics first game in Summer League. He is listed as day to day with a knee bruise. He has expressed his hope that he will be able to play in spite of still having some pain in the knee. The Celtics are likely to be cautious with him and if there is any doubt about the knee he will once again sit out the game.
