YES!!  Resign IT to a team friendly 1 year deal, then sign Smart to QO. 
Start the season like this... Let Brown, Tatum and Hayward fight for starter minutes...and finish the game with Hayward handling the ball with Brow, Tatum, Al and AD...wow!

OMG if we could trade Kyrie for Kawhi and then sign IT with the MLE we would have essentially traded Crowder + #8 pick Sexton + Zizic for Kawhi.

Why would the spurs accept a rental of kyrie ? Also it’s well documented that Ainge is only willing to do a deal based on picks and the starting 5 are untouchable in trade talks


Also kawhi said he doesn’t want to play in Boston so I’m certain ainge has rescinded any offer by now

As much as I think he would help us, I’m not sure it’s the best move for him. He would get limited playing time and I’m not sure he would be okay with that, or set him up for that big contract he craves/deserves.

Maybe this year humbled him and he knows he can play in the Garden and be loved and do what he loves?

Not sure if he fits, but I’d like to see the Celtics do something, anything, to improve this summer.  Feel like staying absolutely the same is overrating the team a bit.   For instance, ITs scoring off the bench would be a huge upgrade. 

Like sign Thomas,  then swap Rozier and Morris plus whatever to upgrade Morris?  Not sure for who. But something like that.
