No it hasn't. It's just that Hayward has been out for 1 year and people forget just how good he is. Unless of course you think Brown, Tatum, or even Horford for that matter would've done this to the Clippers and beat them in a 7 game series as their team's best player.

Swap roles with Hayward, does Brown or Tatum of today get passed a Clippers team that had Paul, Griffin, Jordan, and Redick? I think the answer is pretty obvious.

Hayward, if healthy, is arguably the best player on the team when you consider offense and defense. Kyrie is clearly the better offensive player, but Hayward is far superior on defense. As much as I love Jayson and Jaylen, they are not as good as Hayward yet. Perhaps Jayson will surpass Hayward this year, we will see, but I would be a bit surprised.
