That's pretty surreal honestly that we have the 2nd best player in the East right now.  :o

Now that Lebron left the East, that's the case. Now obviously he's [Kyrie] probably Top-15 in the league overall (on higher end), but it also shows how LOADED the West is and why we now have virtually a clear path to the Finals with only MIL, PHI and TOR being our main threats (but I'm still confident we can beat each of them in a series assuming health).

Anyways, I really do hope we can keep Kyrie long term and hope he's willing to stay here long term as well.

Also, Kyrie now looks like a genius for leaving CLE when he did (even if it may have been a bit dramatic, but he saw the writing on the wall)  :P

who's number 1

Giannis Antetokounmpo (Greek Freak)

He's a beast even with an inconsistent jumper, but imagine if he finds it in the coming years  :o

Embiid could be in the conversation after next season IF he plays most of the season (not injured often)

Giannis.

Of the top 20 players, it looks like around 16 of them are in the west.

This was a score for the Celtics. Also, another good reason that they lost to CLE in game 7. Did we really need them to get swept in the finals before to the finals multiple times over the next couple of years?
The only real mistake is the one from which we learn nothing.

This feels like trolling. And regardless, is presented in a way that is as subjective as it gets.

Wow, that's wild.  I just randomly threw down a bunch of players that I consider to be in all-star consideration and I've got 20 in the west, 14 in the east, 1 free agent, so not quite as lopsided as yours, but still in our favor especially when you look at the very top of the league which is most important.

West: Lebron, Durant, Curry, Klay, Draymond, Kawhi, Davis, Harden, CP3, Westbrook, PG13, Butler, Lilliard, Towns, Gobert, Jokic, Marc Gasol, Aldridge, McCollum, Booker
East: Giannis, Kyrie, Gordon Hayward, Embiid, Oladipo, Porzingis, Wall, Lowry, DeRozan, Horford, Simmons, Tatum, Beal, Love

FA:  Cousins

Close cuts:  Conley, D-Mitchell, Drummond, Jordan, Kemba (3 west, 2 east)
2020 CelticsStrong All-2000s Draft -- Utah Jazz

Finals Starters:  Jason Kidd - Reggie Miller - PJ Tucker - Al Horford - Shaq
Bench:  Rajon Rondo - Trae Young - Marcus Smart - Jaylen Brown -  Peja Stojakovic - Jamal Mashburn - Carlos Boozer - Tristan Thompson - Mehmet Okur

Wade's a free agent too though I doubt anyone expects him to leave Miami.  But yeah, pretty striking how the talent's become even more lopsided. West got the top 4 lottery picks too.

The Greek Freak is a great regular season player, but I would gladly take Kyrie if given the choice. No matter what environment you put him in (regular season, playoffs, open or half-court game, or making a clutch or game winning shot), Kyrie is always an elite player. I honestly forgot Giannis was even playing in the playoffs half the time he was on the court.

Don't worry, he'll be crowned that after his third rookie season  ;)

Half of that listed talent isn't very good anymore.

Both the 2 guys in the East are well past their primes / cooked.  Makes it extremely lopsided.

lol, TP.

He will put up big stats though- he'll have to, since Philly's 3rd best player would be our 6th.

Maybe 7th.
