Yup I said it he is running chicken. His idea to go play out in La and leave the Cavs again just shows you how he is as person. Those contracts that Cleveland signed where all his boys. All bad contracts and that’s what handicapped the Cavs. It was his team he put together. I can’t believe Magic would give home the no trade clause. He is the reason Irving left. So glad we got him when we did. I feel bad the Cavs  fans in all of this. Such a great sports city. Hope to god the Lakers end up regretting this as he ages.

He's a huge coward for forcing them to sign his friends then ditching the team when the going gets tough

Please...he helped bring a title to Cleveland when they had not won anything in 50 years. Almost every team in the league would take it. Ask fans of the Kings or Hornets if they would take Lebron versus the waste land of suck that currently exist in both cities.

You are just typical fan who hates seeing players control their destiny. They should go back to the old way where players got moved along by management like cattle being prodded to move forward. Forbes stated that the worth of the Cavaliers doubled when Lebron showed up a couple of years ago. Every owner would sign up for that.

Watch the insult.

JUST he helped? Kyrie and Love were also big timers about that run.

Besides, it was more about the 73-9 Warriors choking that led to the Cavs winning their first title, not LeBron beating them.

This is an insulting thread, on multiple levels. I don’t see it going any place positive to be honest.

Mods, would you please consider locking this thread?
I believe Gandhi is the only person who knew about real democracy — not democracy as the right to go and buy what you want, but democracy as the responsibility to be accountable to everyone around you. Democracy begins with freedom from hunger, freedom from unemployment, freedom from fear, and freedom from hatred.

Yeah, this has some icky connotations.. completely setting aside the ridiculousness that LeBron James is actually "scared" of something, as opposed to being a realist and doing whatever he wants, which presumably includes Hollywood, looking after his children, and living in warm weather..

I disagree he is a coward, he chose a situation that he thought was best for him. That being said what are the connotations people are talking about?

Selfish?  Certainly.
Dishonorable?  Quite possibly, though we don't know the inside stuff to be certain.
Cowardly?  No.

Lebron is in the waning days of his career, I believe he should go to what situation is best for him.

If Lebron really was scared, he wouldve joined the Sixers or Rockets. He joined the Lakers because his son is going to study in LA.

To be fair, he doesn't have any established All-Star player to join in. Lonzo Ball, Brandon Ingram and Kyle Kuzma are just all potential at this point. Miami have MVP-caliber player in Wade with Bosh joining. Cavs have Kyrie and traded for Love before Lebron signed.

We are uncertain what kind of supporting cast we'll get with the Lakers. And Cavs ownership/management is just terrible and probably one of the worst along with James Dolan and Michael Jordan.
