Fultz couldn't even get his butt off the bench in last year's series.  Even if he steps up his game to the point he gets played in the playoffs, we see your Fultz and we raise you Kyrie AND Gordon Hayward!  LOL @ Sixersfans.

Naah, what the Sixers fans need to pray for is to prise Lebron away from CLE and LAL in free agency.

Fultz is a bust and will be a goner in a trade eventually as filler

Philly played Fultz in a hail Mary 10 games to show that Fultz is physically healthy and can play a little. It was a showcase that's it

No nba player that I can remember forgot how to shoot. If you think about it he hasn't played good basketball since about early college which was a long time ago. He never shot free throws well since his form was always a little off. I'm not confident he gets any shot back I think he just had a lucky streak of good games early in college and high school and that's it

Why would anyone trade for a bust?

Drew Hanlen is the new trainer for Fultz they are referring to. Hanlen is on record that he reminds Fultz everyday in training, in which Fultz is literally paying Hanlen tons of $$$$ to work with him, that Jayson Tatum was the best player in the draft and at the time of the draft.

"Heres my money now start ripping on me about Tatum"

Do these LibertyBaller fools even realize Jaylen Brown is our starting 2 guard? So Fultz at SG means he has to go through Jaylen......

Also Tatum is 2 years younger than both Simmons and Mitchell and 3 years younger than Kuzma and 1 year younger than Lauri Markanan......you fools don't think a stronger more physically matured Tatum won't BEAST you next year?

Sixers fans in general are delusional.

During the playoff series, they kept going on like, "oh we won't play that bad again, they won't play that good again, the refs won't hurt us/help them that much again, blah blah blah" as their Process fell to a Celtics team w/o 2 stars and a limited Jaylen in 5 games

Hell, I'll even say that Brown + Tatum outplayed the "transcendental duo" of Embiid + Simmons by a good margin. Simmons was mediocre, and while Embiid had great games, he also played some extremely horrible defense in crucial stretches which literally cost them like two of the games. Then of course got smothered by Baynes on defense and missed the game-tying shot in Game 5.

Now Fultz can still be a star in this league, no doubt, but to say that's a better addition than Kyrie... AND Hayward? LOL. Also, Fultz isn't playing in the Summer League this year according to reports. Sounds iffy.

Fultz is an ant.

Kyrie and Hayward are gods.
Philly:

Anderson Varejao    Tiago Splitter    Matt Bonner
David West    Kenyon Martin    Brad Miller
Andre Iguodala    Josh Childress    Marquis Daniels
Dwyane Wade    Leandro Barbosa
Kirk Hinrich    Toney Douglas   + the legendary Kevin McHale

Their arguments about Kyrie and Hayward is that the Celtics hasn't played with them yet and there are not enough minutes to go around, and that Hayward is just as good as Tatum.

But you can bet your life that if they add people like Hayward and Kyrie they would already be counting their chips.

'Can the Sixers as currently constructed (addition of Zhaire Smith with a JJ Redick return) beat Boston with a healthy Kyrie Irving and Gordon Hayward in a seven-game series?'

This is tricky to answer because “as currently constructed” also includes Markelle Fultz. He’s the key to this answer. From all accounts via Drew Hanlan, Fultz is at least on the way back to regaining the skill and swagger that made him the #1 overall pick in 2017.

If Fultz returns to that, he’s the starting two-guard to start the season. His game adds much needed shot creation and shot making in the half court -- which is what the Sixers lacked in that playoff run (not just against the Celtics). Defensively, they’re better. Let’s just pretend Redick doesn’t return. Smith gets those minutes off the bench to spell Fultz (or Covington). Smith is a much better defensive upgrade.

All of that said, it would be a series that would go seven games. This is not a “Tyson/McNeeley” fight. This thing’s going the distance, and it’ll come down to who has home court for game seven. If it’s the Sixers, I’ll say Philly in seven. If not, it’ll be Boston in seven."

It is a very silly position to take, but from a fan of a team what do you really expect?  They have to be positive.  They have to believe that Embiid and Simmons will continue to grow and that Fultz will figure it out.  They have to believe that Boston will have a minutes and rotation problem, which will cause problems with the roster.  Because that is what fans do.

We blew the "Process" out of the water with the "Progress!"  We are stronger next year and they are not.   They win one championship in Football and it goes to their head.

Idiots are a dime a dozen these days.

Right.  Philly fans are no more "delusional" or somehow lesser than Boston fans.  This board regularly offers some very extreme thinking.  It's a part of fandom.
