PG - Steph Curry
SG - Klay Thompson
SF - Kevin Durant
PF - Draymond Green
C - DeAndre Jordan

Their Big 5. Enough to cream the Lakers in the West should the Lakers form a Big 3.

I laughed at this rumor, as DJ just opted out of a $24million year, and he would have to take the $5.3 taxpayer MLE. Has anyone ever turned down $20+ million per year to buy a ring?

Durant is pretty close. He turned down $7 mil to go to warriors and has been taking pay cuts.

Somehow we think about in per year basis which makes DJ's pay cut completely unreasonable

But looking at the duration of the contract you have a point.

No he wasn't because he didn't qualify for Supermax.  If he stayed with the Jazz, he could have had a 5 year deal but other teams including us could only offer him a 4 year deal.  The difference over the 1st 4 years is only a few million total.

SF/SG- Tatum, Brown, Hayward, Smart, Semi, Clark

That's only because the NBA was officially running the Hornets at that time, when they had no GM.

Could Jordan's decision to turn down 24 million end up being as stupid as Noel's? Who turns down 24 million?

Is KD going to take the minimum? Either Jordan has to take $5.3 million or the Warriors have to get below the apron to take him in a sign-and-trade.

Can anybody tell me on which planet would a Jordan to the Warriors scenario be a GOOD thing for the NBA??

After the smokin' this year they put on the Cavs, how could anybody watch the NBA next year and not feel like the fix is in?

At what point have we crossed into ludicrous speed?
