Lakers now second best title odds for next season

Thought this is an interesting fact. LA Lakers now 5-1 to win the title next year. Warriors first at 7:5 Celtics 3rd at 6-1. Rockets next at 10-1. Nobody else given a realistic chance at this point.

So dumb. Even with just Lebron and Kawhi OR George, what makes them think that they can get past GS and Boston, and possibly even Houston? They’d have a whole lot more work to do to fill that roster out to even be in the conversation.

If I lived in a sports betting is legal state, I would rush to throw down a Lakers vs. the Field bet, if one existed, at almost any odds.

I am not saying there isn't some truth to this, and it isn't really a great line for them, but this stuff is based heavily in reality. Especially on something that is not a prop bet (eg where Lebron plays next season) that generally has a very low max bet because of inside information.

Someone could bet 6 figures on this and they would not want to have bad odds. So people with very inside information are convinced that him returning to Cleveland is dead because the Cavs are currently 52-1 to win the title next year. Where if someone purchased that right now they could sell it back at 4 times the price on a future market the day after Lebron returned.

I'm never going to stake my life to this stuff cause crazy things happen, but this is a stronger indicator than woj and shams and every other insider combined 50 times over.

I pulled the trigger on the 2008 team and won.   I can't blame them for trying.....  I owe it to this blog for helping me win with our inside scope.     

Don't hate on them, if they pull of what Boston did in 2008 you would be optimistic too.

Roy it was 18-1 for Cleveland 2 days ago and they took down all betting for Lebron.

Add Lebron to the current roster they aren't that good so they would need another all-star which would cost them assets. Third best in the west lucky to reach the WCF.

I deeply and passionately hate the Lakers. That they are considered contenders while having one of the ten (or so) worst rosters in the league is just so revealing with regard to the advantage the franchise has over every other.  Disgusting.  It’s Shaq all other again. Lakers don’t earn their rise to contention like other teams.  I hate them.
