Resign Smart and hopefully Rozier the next year. It gives us I would say the deepest team in NBA history at the swing position.

Kawaii
Hayward
Tatum
Brown
Morris

Doubtful anyone can name five more to talented forwards on the same team.m

No because we need a point guard, and kyrie could be argued to be the best one in the game. Inarguably top 2

Also kahwi wants to go to LA, so it's a guaranteed rental

Gotta go all in on forwards and trade Horford + Rozier for LeBron and just start everyone 6’7”-6’9”

Yes.

Kawhi and Hayward can take turns bringing the ball up. I remember Pop having Kawhi just bring the ball up himself in the 2017 playoffs with Tony Parker hurt and Dejounte Murray not ready for major minutes.

And then lose Kawhi the next year cuz he's going to the Lakers.

Nah, hard pass. I don't want this clown in my team after practically sitting out for the entire year playing for one of the greatest coaches in the game.

It depends. Is he fully healthy? Is he willing to re-sign? Is Kyrie healthy? Is Kyrie planning to re-sign?

I'm sure Brad could figure out the fit, although I think it would result in Brown getting traded to bring in a PG. We'd be better off keeping Kyrie and building a package around Brown
I'm bitter.

One is really good at offense but sucks at D.

The other is only slightly worse at offense but is amazing at D.

In terms of talent for talent, it's a no-brainer.

No way.

why trade a 25yr/old PG stud like Kyrie?  Kawaii is good, but more easily replaceable than a guy like Kyrie.

Amazed how many people have so far said no to this deal.

Kawaii?  You mean like, hyper-cute Japanese aesthetics?

No, I wouldn't trade Kyrie for Kawhi.

Kawhi's quad injury should also be one too.

sure, but when you consider that one has already made clear he's not cool playing in a less glamorous market with a top notch coach and plays the same position as three of the star player we already have on the team, while the other is the only elite guard on the roster, it seems more like a no-brainer in the opposite direction.
