In terms of legacy, LeBron is already in a different category than Jordan, Kobe, Magic, Larry.  All of them stayed with one team and then were able to build championship teams around them.  They didn't go chasing around to find a team that was close and then join them.

Granted, all of these players had some really good teammates on their championship teams, far more than LeBron has had (except maybe in Miami).  I predict that LeBron will end up in LA with the Lakers and somehow Chris Paul, Paul George, and Cousins will join him.  It will be like that Lakers team that Karl Malone and Gary Payton played with Shaq and Kobe but couldn't beat Detroit in the Finals (except all 4 will be new players).

Well said, TP, as for the bolting to other teams, they could have but did not.   Jordan's team was bad for a couple of years before he became a champion.
