How pathetic. How embarassing.
Lebron checks out in what could very well be his final game at Cleveland as a Cavalier, and while he's congratulating all the other Warriors players and acknowledging his teammates,
all the crowd does is give him an "average" standing ovation and some MVP chants you could BARELY hear. As much as I despise Lebron (the player), the guy gave it his all for Cleveland got that city their only sports championship in the last like 50+ years. He left it all out there in the playoffs and put in like 42+ minutes a night every game.
Imagine if that was a Celtics player playing very likely his final game at TD Garden. The Garden would be rocking and buzzing all game, even when things were getting rough in the game. There would be loud chants especially toward the end.
Look at Paul Pierce's jersey retirement day, the Cavaliers are blowing us out yet the Garden is still buzzing and even chants stuff like "We Want Paul" during the game. Meanwhile, Cavaliers fans are just dead silent in the arena down 15-20 in Lebron's final minutes. And of course, as a Clipper, Pierce drains a 3 and the crowd roars in delight in his final game at TD Garden (doesn't matter if it's a Clippers player hitting it).
But please, tell me how hostile, electric and "top-notch" that Cleveland playoff crowd is...

(Looking at you especially, ESPN)
