Sure, if he comes back at a cheap price.

Honestly if Larkin could improve his shot, he would be more valuable.

Always remind me of Phil Pressey, one of my favorite players, but too bad he couldn't score or shoot :(

If Kyrie, Smart, and Rozier are all healthy, it doesn't seem like he has a shot at a rotation spot.  Probably would be best for him to try to catch on with another team that has a need for a decent 2nd/3rd string point guard who tries hard and can hit a three.

Yes. Bring him back! Using a cheap exception or something.

He was on the team with all those guys THIS year.  Sure, he could be squeezed out by someone else but if he's willing to resign and act as an emergency guard, why not.

Depends on whether or not we can get a better player for a better price.  Either way, he's only going to get spot minutes if everybody is still on the team and healthy.

Larkin turned down a two year $6.5 million contract in Europe to play for the Celtics on a one year $1.5 mill deal.  I suspect he was using that as a tryout for a bigger NBA deal and I don't think he's going to get it.  Remember, he signed before the IT/Kyrie trade and was expecting a lot more playing time with IT missing the first couple of months of the season.

I hope he comes back, but he should take a deal in Europe if it's paying a lot more.

He's a useful player to have at the end of the bench in the regular season.  Someone who can change the tempo and complexity of the game entirely by using his speed and on-ball harassment.

However come playoff time, he's pretty close to unplayable when it matters most because of his defensive liabilities.  In the modern switch-happy league, teams will simply force a switch and have Larkin try to guard somebody much bigger - LeBron, Durant, Harden, etc.  It was tough enough trying to watch Olynyk and Rozier try to contain LeBron over the past few seasons.  Larkin's lack of size would put a lot of pressure on our defense.

So I guess we'll see.  I appreciate his contributions this season and wouldn't mind having him back for the minimum depending on how the rest of our roster looks, but won't be too upset if he doesn't come back.

Yeah, as a 12th or 13th man, why not?

He could have played an important role in Game 7.

Yeah, basically just an insurance guard. If he’s willing for that and wants to go for rings, bring him back!

If we can get him on another one year deal he'd be a great 4th PG, just like he was last year. I wouldn't want to invest more than that in that role or him.
